<br> Minisketch is a library implementing an algorithm that allows efficient set reconcilliation of announcements in gossip protocols, such as those used in Bitcoin and LN. This week’s newsletter describes how BLS signatures could be used to improve DLCs without consensus changes to Bitcoin and includes our regular sections with announcements of new software releases and release candidates, plus summaries of notable changes to popular Bitcoin infrastructure software. The announcements follow a public spat between Binance and WazirX over the weekend when the companies began to argue about the ownership of the Indian firm. Taproot is a proposed soft fork change to Bitcoin that will allow payments to schnorr public keys that may optionally commit to a script that can be revealed at spend time. Schnorr signatures and Taproot are proposed changes to the Bitcoin protocol that promise greatly improved privacy, fungibility, scalability and functionality. Coins protected by taproot may be spent either by satisfying one of the committed scripts or by simply providing a signature that verifies against the public key (allowing the script to be kept private). In fact, the difficulty is regularly adjusted by the protocol to ensure that all miners in the network will only produce one valid block every 10 minutes on average<br>>

It is highly recommended that you transfer your Bitcoins to your wallet immediately after purchase. Users can sign-in using their existing wallet or by creating a new profile. Anonymity networks that are separate from Bitcoin, such as Tor and I2P, can also be combined with privacy-improving techniques in Bitcoin, such as dandelion. Note: Tor onion services should not be confused with the onion encryption used in LN. The best known of these are Tor and I2P. The functionality of the inlined Simplicity code can then be reimplemented in more efficient languages, such as C, which can be proved to be equivalent to the pure Simplicity program-eliminating speed or memory penalt<br>
